Having DSL at home or office is great, but sometimes I need to access my e-mail from other places. Is there a dial-up option available as a package with DSL?

Yes, there is. We realize that many people might find themselves in the position of having a DSL circuit in one location while needing dial-up access from another. So we're creating a special package service -- if you order a personal DSL connection, you can add a dial-up account (or keep your existing dial-up account) for $10 a month.

One caveat is in order here -- just because the DSL link will likely become your primary net connection, don't assume that you will be able to simply hand out your dial-up user name and password to others for use. All the existing requirements to keep your dial-up account for personal use remain in place.

We are providing the option of a $10 a month dial-up account to provide you with maximum flexibility at reasonable cost. Please don't abuse that.

We're able to offer an add-on dial-up account for $10 because we assume you won't have the same dial-up usage pattern that you would if dial-up is your only access method. Most places -- like Qwest -- don't give any discount under these circumstances and charge a full $20 a month for dial up.

We must however, limit this offer to one additional dial-up account available at $10 per DSL circuit -- in other words if you're a business that gets a single DSL link, you can't order 5 more dial-up accounts at $10 each per month.
