Poem Number 412
Why did it all go wrong at once?
Instead of weeks, I wanted months
So I could get accustomed to
The thought of losing you
i wasnt prepared for the glassy stare or to even be left alone i shed tears at the thought of you so lost without your touch my mind plays the blues an endless melody of needing you
so everyday I drop bottles of goo
the hands on the clock get stuck in the middle
they hang there and motionless and then wrestle a little
sometimes they stay there all twisted in time
while the memory of you is without reason or rythm
yet no matter the day be it wretched or fine
here in my heart you will always be mine

Commentary:
