TfxCommTx and TfxCommRx Components (v0.10/v0.11 11/25/97)TfxCommTX and TfxCommRX make up a communications system that allows sending string data between two seperate apps. The string is transferred using the Win32 WM_COPYDATA Message. This pair of components completely insulates the developer from the complexities of the WM_COPYDATA call.
NOTE!!! There is no 16bit (D1) version of this component, because it uses features of Win32. Sorry!
TfxRepeatBtn Component (v0.50 8/13/97)Enhancement to Delphi's TSpeedButton control. This version adds a "Repeat" behavior. This will cause the OnClick method to be called repeatedly while the button is held down.

TfxDbNav Component (v0.61 8/4/97)Replacement for Delphi's TDBNavigator control. This fxDBNav allows you to link TSpeedButtons (or TSpeedButton descendants ) on your form to each of the Navigators functions. This allows you to redefine the appearance/position/glyph of all the navigator buttons. It also allows you to include 10 'OTHER' buttons that will be automatically enabled or disabled based on the DATASET.ACTIVE property. You can also attach your own code, which will be triggered automatically, to enable or disable the buttons based on any conditions you wish. You might want to get the TfxRepeatBtn above to use with this instead of normal speedbuttons.

TfxDbBtn Component (v0.50 7/20/97)This is a descendant of a TSpeedButton that is used to Display and Edit data in a database field. It is intended for use with a field that can contain a limited set of values. You provide a list of Field Values, and the corresponding text to display for each value. The buttons caption is set to the Display value. When the button is clicked, the dataset it put into an edit mode, and the field value in incremented to the next value in the Items list.
Sample use: To Edit/Display the contents of a PaymentType field, containing
possible values of Cash / Check / Visa / MasterCard. The data could be stored in the
field as CA, CH, VI, MC, but the complete text could be displayed on the buttons
caption.

TfxTurtle Component (v0.50 7/20/97)'Turtle Graphics' component, as found in the 'LOGO' programming language. Graphics are drawn usings simple commands (Forward, Left, Right).
The original "Turtle" used in Logo was a robotic turtle, that moved around on a piece of paper, drawing a line with a pen. Soon the Turtle migrated to the computer graphics screen where it is used to draw shapes, designs, and pictures.

TfxLocate Component (v0.90 6/4/97)LOCATEs data in a TTable or TQuery component (and their descendants like the Infopower TwwTable component ). Currently only searches on String and Blob/Memo fields. Will search up to 1048576 chars of a Blob/Memo field. (Does anyone know the stated limits of a dBase/Paradox blob/memo?) It will automatically find and use an index if one is available for the field being searched.
