A Digita application is a software program that executes on a device running the Digita OE (typically a digital camera). The application, written in C or C++ can make use of the many services provided by Digita, such as File Services, Imaging Services, Graphic Services and Communications Services. Digita applications are event-driven tasks that run inside the Digita device. There are three types of applications: Capture - Capture a digital image with the camera. Imaging - Manipulate images that have already been captured. Default - The application that automatically runs when the camera is turned on. The Camera Control Application that is built into all commercial Digita equipment cameras is an example of a default application.
