Bob. |
Although we say that Bob was born on 7 May 1996, somewhere in rural Waukesha County, Wisconsin, we don't know any of those things for certain. Bob was first seen standing in the snow, by a tree, on Sprague Road; he was looking up at a squirrel. (Bob, a Japanese bobtail, has very little tail, and we have noticed that he has a fascination for large bushy tails.) About a week later, Bob hitched a ride from Andrea Schten while she was driving home along Sprague Road.
In Eagle, it is illegal for a cat to hitch a ride from the animal control officer; therefore Andie sentenced Bob to several weeks in the Mukwonago Animal Clinic jail. Later, Bob's sentence was commuted to The Priscilla Zone in nearby Madison, Wisconsin. His parole officer adopted him. Bob eventually relocated to the Boston area under the witness protection program, where he serves as Marie's personal slave.
Bob is a lot like The Fugitive; in fact, yesterday he dove into the bathtub as the tap water was roaring out of the faucet, and then he went for a swim.
We are still finding out more about Bob.
